Cardiopulmonary Disease: Evidence-Based Exercise Prescription

Course overview

This course is designed to assist physical therapy professionals in post-acute settings and athletic trainers in developing evidence-based exercise prescriptions for patients with cardiopulmonary disease. Learners will gain an understanding of the common graded exercise stress test protocols and how to interpret the results, then apply the information to treatment goals, plan of care, and exercise prescription and progression. The goal of this course is to provide physical therapy professionals and athletic trainers with an understanding of exercise testing and prescription for patients with cardiopulmonary disease.
