Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the participant will be able to: Identify alternative ways of diagnosing periodontal pathogens Describe the causative and exacerbating factors of periodontal disease Recognize that the causative and exacerbating factors are important to recognize for treatment selection Explain how holistic and conventional protocols used synergistically can increase and improve treatment outcomes and predictability Course Description: This course will review the precipitating factors of periodontal disease and how to address them in a "wholistic" way to improve treatment outcomes. From evaluating pH to the use of ozone, a combination of holistic and conventional treatment modalities can increase and improve treatment outcomes for a more "wholistic" approach for improved operator and patient satisfaction.
