Course overview

In this training, participants will learn the origins and theories of domestic violence, as well as how to identify and define the different types of domestic violence. This training discusses warning signs and symptoms in domestic violence survivors and their children, and teaches participants the skills needed to appropriately intervene, refer, and connect survivors to resources, while maintaining the safety of survivors and their families. Lastly, the training touches on prevention efforts and how to advocate to reduce the cycle of domestic violence.
