Identifying & Responding to Trauma: Child Abuse

Course overview

In this training, participants will learn about the prevalence and impact of child abuse. The training will discuss physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect, and how to appropriately respond to concerns and disclosures of child abuse. The training also discusses individual and community level prevention, and challenges the participant to examine how their own personal biases play a role in their responses to child abuse.
