A stroke occurs in the U.S. every 40 seconds. Rapid intervention has shown great increases in the quality of life for those recovering from strokes. Mobile stroke units are designed to help reach stroke patients quickly and improve survival rates. This course will discuss considerations for EMS involving the use of mobile stroke care units.
