Testosterone is considered the quintessential hormone for men's health. Testosterone is a naturally occurring hormone present in both men and women. The absence of testosterone can produce significant health alterations in men. The purpose of this course is to provide nurses with information on the production, synthesis, and physiological effects of testosterone. In addition, this course presents information on methods of testosterone assessment and clinical therapeutic interventions.
