OCCUPATIONAL INJURIES OR ILLNESSES REPRESENT A SUBSTANTIAL PERCENTAGE OF EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT VISITS AS WELL AS PRIMARY CARE AND SUBSPECIALTY CLINICAL PRACTICES. THIS ACTIVITY REVIEWS THE CAUSES AND PRESENTATION OF OCCUPATIONAL INJURIES AND HIGHLIGHTS THE ROLE OF THE INTERPROFESSIONAL TEAM IN ITS MANAGEMENT AND PREVENTION.
