Treatments for those with Alzheimers disease and other related disorders focus on maintaining their functional ability for as long as possible. This course describes common medications along with advances in the treatment of Alzheimers disease. It also discusses alternative treatments. The goal of this course is to teach administrators and nursing professionals in post-acute care about treatment approaches to Alzheimers disease and other related disorders.
