Course overview
Older adult patients in all rehabilitation settings are chronically under-dosed when it comes to the intensity of rehabilitation therapy. For older adults to increase their strength, endurance, and aerobic capacity, they need an exercise prescription based on the FITT-VP principle. In this course, physical and occupational therapy professionals will learn best practices in determining the appropriate dose and progression and, more importantly, how to ensure buy-in from patients and caregivers.
