Addressing Substance Use in Military and Veteran Populations

Course overview
Active duty and veteran service members constitute a highly vulnerable population due to their high risk of substance use. The goal of this course is to provide addictions, behavioral health counseling, marriage and family counseling, nursing, psychology, and social work professionals in health and human services settings with a basic understanding of how military life affects substance use among active duty and veteran populations.
