DSM-5 Feeding and Eating Disorders With Adolescents and Adults: Assessment, Treatment, & Ethical Issues

Course overview

This continuing education workshop will focus on the various assessment, treatment, and ethical issues that commonly arise with both adolescents and adults who suffer from various eating disorders (ED). While many people mistakenly believe that these disorders are the sole domain of teenage girls, this is far from the reality of these disorders. Persons deemed appropriate to attend this workshop might include addictions counselors, pastoral counselors, wellness and/or life coaches, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, family physicians, pediatricians, teachers, athletic trainers and/or coaches, and any related treatment professional that might be specializing in the general clinical, adolescent, and/or sport/performance arenas.
