There has been a lot of research done around pre- and post-embryo transfer acupuncture using protocols with mixed outcomes. When it comes to these treatments, how can we best support our patients while maintaining the integrity of Traditional Chinese Medicine? Individualized acupuncture on the day of transfer has been shown to increase the live birth rate and decrease the biochemical rate. We will review the past research that has been done on day of embryo transfer acupuncture and examine how it has evolved. We will also talk about how to utilize research as a way to connect with fertility clinics and REIs near you.
