Chronic Pain: From Massage Therapy to Fentanyl

Course overview

This course explores chronic pain management, from NSAIDs to opioids and everything in between. It addresses the opioid crisis, including fentanyl and xylazine, and the new CDC clinical practice guideline for prescribing opioids for pain. Upon completion of this activity, the learner will possess evidence-based knowledge of pain symptom management using a wide variety of approaches, including opioid and nonopioid medications, interventional therapies, restorative therapies, behavioral health approaches, cannabis, and complementary and integrative health techniques.
