Effective Suicide Prevention, Intervention and Postvention

Course overview

Participants will learn the signs that someone is thinking about suicide, specific steps they can take to engage the person in turning toward life, and important information about how to support survivors of suicide loss as a prevention strategy. This is an experiential workshop and participants will have the opportunity to practice asking questions and engaging in suicide prevention with gentle guidance in a supportive learning environment.
