This program focuses on evidence-based practices for non-surgical and surgical procedures used to treat orthopaedic conditions associated with musculoskeletal trauma of the knee, wrist, elbow, and spine. It includes a brief overview of the related anatomy, as well as rehabilitation considerations for non-operative treatment options and post-surgical therapy protocols. This program describes the importance of core stability and function for chronic musculoskeletal injuries. This course discusses the basics and strategies of prevention and recovery of the unmotivated and motivated worker in the industrial setting. Program content is designed to assist healthcare providers with acquiring the skills and knowledge to provide quality care and improve patient outcomes.
