Course overview

Physical and occupational therapists commonly evaluate and treat patients with upper quarter neuromusculoskeletal pathologies. This course will provide attendees with a thorough review of the neuroanatomy and common entrapment sites of the three main upper extremity nerves (median, radial, ulnar). In addition, evidence-based interventions will be introduced and discussed to facilitate patient management skills. Current evidence will be synthesized to give attendees guidance on effective upper quarter neurodynamic examination and intervention strategies.
