Course overview
Alterations of the electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) waveform can occur for various reasons. This course will explore the major changes that can occur with right and left hypertrophy, impaired perfusion (e.g., myocardial infarction), and other abnormalities such as electrolyte imbalances. The goal of this course is to provide healthcare professionals in acute settings with information about ECG alterations that occur with hypertrophy, impaired perfusion, and other abnormalities.
