Course overview
The goal of this program is to acquaint nurses with the expanded role of flexible bronchoscopy with pulmonary photodynamic therapy (PDT) in the treatment of lung cancer. After you study the information presented in this learning module, you will be able to; describe the role of flexible bronchoscopy in the diagnosis and treatment of lung tumors, relate the role of pulmonary PDT in the treatment of lung tumors, and discuss the nursing care of patients treated with pulmonary PDT.
