How Hospice Caregivers Impact CAHPS Survey Outcomes

Course overview

The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey for hospice providers is designed to gather information on the experiences of hospice patients and their informal caregivers perspectives of their loved ones care with hospice services. The CAHPS survey identifies relative strengths and weaknesses in the hospice organizations performance and determines where they need to improve and track their progress. The goal of this course is to describe how hospice caregivers can positively impact the CAHPS Hospice Survey outcomes.
