This course is focused on Chinese Medicines qi gong and its practical application of boosting health by balancing yin and yang, 5 elements, meridians and the 5 zang and 6 fu organs. This course will be live and in person to get hands on experience. It will cover foundations and theory relating to Chinese Medicine and qi gong. Additional Dao yin exercises will focus on supporting eye health, hearing, mental clarity, and the spinal cord with an emphasis on the neck and lower back. To help with a scientific understanding of the body Heart Math technology will be taught in detail. Heart Math research will help participants to see the inner workings of the heart, nervous system, and emotions. Aspects of the Conscious Mind as it relates to beta brain waves will be taught as well as Subconscious Mind aspects relating to Alpha, Theta, and Delta brain waves. The fusion of Chinese Medicine, qi gong and modern research with Heart Math technology will help individuals on their healing journey and to give them tools to better help their patients.

This course will be 26 credits in total with 21 general and 5 biomedicine. A total qi gong form will be taught thoroughly for learners to teach it to patients or be able to easily practice themselves. Wu Dang Hun Yuan Qi Gong will be taught with adjunctive Wu Dang Dao Yin exercises for health. Wu Dang Ba Duan Jin will be taught to help spinal cord issues such as neck pain and back pain. This class is for Chinese Medicine practitioners interested in learning more about qi gong and supportive exercises from a Chinese Medicine perspective. It will be taught in a way to give participants practical experience and confidence to teach it for in office workshops or individually to patients. Regular loose and comfortable clothes may be worn with comfortable shoes. Participants should be prepared to stand for longer periods of time. Breaks will be given at regular intervals for restrooms or water drinking. Lunch will be at noon for 2 hours.
