Evidence Based Instrument Sharpening

Course overview

Irrefutable evidence shows that of the three most commonly used manual methods of sharpening instruments, one method is superior to the other two. All three methods of sharpening will be taught in this hands-on workshop. Scanning microscopic slides of cutting edges of each method will be shown and discussed along with the statistical analysis of the findings. There will be one instructor for every five attendees, in this hands-on workshop to assure each participant learns all techniques.
