Periodontal Instrumentation & DH Clinical Calibration Workshop

Course overview

This workshop is a hands-on with one on one teaching of preclinic to second year dental hygiene clinic periodontal instrumentation. Periodontal manikins will be set up in a sim lab where attendees will practice teaching techniques and receive a 1:5 ratio of instructors to attendees. Calibration sessions will be held on how to teach using the same words and demonstrations to the students. Other calibration activities will be part of the afternoon session.
