Understanding Endometriosis

Course overview

This course, with Michelle Lyons, is designed to acknowledge and describe the prevalence and impact of endometriosis, and the implications for pelvic rehabilitation specialists. The course begins by review the treatment options (and their implications) available to endometriosis patients, and goes on to describe the 'Evil Triplet Syndrome' of Endometriosis, Interstitial Cystitis and Pudendal Neuralgia. Participants will develop an understanding of the role of the pelvic rehab specialist in managing pelvic pain and genito-urinary dysfunction.
