Course overview

Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) is a leading cause of disability worldwide, but clinicians are often underprepared to address the full complexity of the physical and cognitive impairments that arise in this population. This course will discuss the underlying physiologic basis for physical and cognitive impairments in the TBI population and present evidence-based, practical tools for evaluation and intervention. Participants will optimize learning through a combination of discussion, case studies, and focus on a variety of patient presentations and clinical settings.
