The empirically-validated treatment series focuses on psychosocial interventions for various mental health conditions which are supported by research evidence. Generalized anxiety disorder involves excessive anxiety and worry that is difficult to control and is about a number of situations unrelated to other Axis I disorders. This course focuses on cognitive-behavioral therapy for the treatment of generalized anxiety disorder. Learning Objectives: 1.
