Course overview
You face many challenges when caring for a person with Alzheimer's disease. These include managing their functional decline along with behavioral symptoms. This course discusses strategies to help with activities of daily living, or ADLs. It also discusses the meaning behind behavioral symptoms and how to address the behaviors. The goal of this course is to teach direct care workers in post-acute care how to manage behaviors during ADLs.
