Structural Integration is a form of massage therapy that teaches participants to safely release fascial and muscular tension in the body in a 10 session format. The 10 sessions are inspired by the fascial work of Dr. Ida P. Rolf. This course will teach the SSI 10 series and a NEW advanced Synergetic Structural Integration 5 session series. Physical assessments refer to postural problems and corrections working with myofascia in movement. Restrictions in the soft tissue are addressed with hands on techniques by the therapist in synergy with active movement by the client. This CE Synergetic Structural Integration Advanced Practitioner is part 3 of our Synergetic Structural Integration program. Part 2 is the already NCBTMB approved 150 CE Synergetic Structural Integration. Part 1 is Synergetic Myofascial Therapy 150 hour. Our Structural Integration and Postural category program has three modules: SMT 150 hours is module 1, Synergetic Structural Integration 150 hours is module 2, and module 3 is this course Synergetic Structural Integration Advanced practitioner 200 hours. The whole program will be 3 modules for a total of 500 hours. This work teaches massage therapists how to conserve energy and use safe body mechanics and is within the scope of practice for massage therapists as Postural and Structural Integration modality. This program teaches basic structural integration and myofascial techniques with active client movement. Safe Body mechanics, anatomy and physiology, physical and postural assessments are also included in program. A practical SSI 5 series and written exam is required to complete the program. Prerequisite Module 1: SMT 150 hour and Module 2: SSI 150 hour. A short end game, end of session integration consisting of fascial neck work, seated back work and sacral work is also taught to accompany each session.
