Activities is a Condition of Participation (CoP) for both CAH and PPS Swing Bed programs. It should be an integral part of the healing process that begins with finding out what is important, in life, to the patient. It serves as motivation, hope, and can add a lighter moment to a strenuous healing process. This webinar will review the rules while providing best practice ideas to integrate into your programs. Suggested Audience: Swing bed coordinators, occupational therapists and/or activities coordinators, key volunteers. Recall reasons for activities for short term programs. Provide best practice ideas for swing bed activities programs.
