Course overview
People on bed rest have unique needs. Knowing how to meet these needs can prevent or reduce a person's risk for injury or illness. This course discusses the reasons a person may be on bed rest and the steps the caregiving team should take to provide quality care. The goal of this course is to educate direct care workers in all post-acute care settings on caring for someone on bed rest.
