Students will learn about simple, quick, and empirically derived assessment tools for youth at risk for alcohol abuse and alcohol-related problems; unintentional injuries, suicidality, aggression and victimization as a result of alcohol abuse; gain an understanding regarding the two powerful assessment questions that open the door- about friends drinking and personal drinking frequency; how to assess binge drinking for youth: and understand what treatment modality works best for youth with alcohol addiction.
