Course overview
Human trafficking, often referred to as modern-day slavery, is a grave violation of human rights that knows no boundaries. It occurs in every corner of the globe, exploiting the vulnerable and robbing individuals of their freedom, dignity, and autonomy. From forced labor and sexual exploitation to organ trafficking and child soldier recruitment, the magnitude and diversity of this issue demand urgent attention and awareness. By the end of this course, you will understand the tactics employed by traffickers, and recognize the signs that someone might be in danger. Armed with this knowledge, you can identify potential victims, assist them in finding support and resources, and work collectively to disrupt the operations of those who profit from their suffering.
