Course overview

An instructor led course that reviews the anatomy and landmarks of the upper and lower airways, and methods for evaluating the need for an airway and which types. Tips provided for documentation purposes related to the airway management and noting pertinent negatives and findings to ensure a detailed and accurate assessment of the patient. Presentation on suspected upcoming airway illnesses followed by hands on skill stations to practice airway management such as intubation, suctioning, RSI/ DAI steps, surgical cricothyrotomy, and pediatric intubations/ airway management.
