Join Dr. Todd Arnold as he prepares you, the sports therapist, to effectively manage infectious diseases. Learn the basic forms of transmission for blood-borne and skin-borne pathogens, discuss differences between HBV and HIV infections, and enact standard precautions for dealing with blood-borne pathogens in your own practice. Finally, this course will describe administrative issues related to preventing the transmission of infectious agents in the athletic setting.
