Course overview
The Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC) makes a strong contribution to the litigation process by identifying and refining the medical issues and theoretical underpinnings of the case. The meshing of medicine and law requires some basic understanding LNCs are dealing with the law, which is organized very differently from medicine. A basic knowledge of the legal process will build the LNCs confidence in the role, delineate the boundaries of the medical legal process and help the LNC more effectively communicate with the attorney/client.
