Course overview

This course will identify correct coding practices for CKD staging utilizing GFR calculations and coding for renal complications of severe and advanced CKD. ICD 9 CM coding techniques when CKD co-exists with hypertension, CHF and with diabetes will be reviewed to increase awareness on how the coding can aid to allocate possible future funds to prevention of CKD and public awareness.
