This course provides clear and concise recommendations to help women to have a safe and healthy pregnancy. In addition, this course identifies common health factors that may result in complications during pregnancy. Learning Objectives: 1. Delineate the key components of a healthy diet during pregnancy. 2. Gain knowledge of a fitness program that promotes a healthy pregnancy. 3. Evaluate the impact of various factors (environmental risks, substance abuse, abusive relationships, etc.) on the unborn baby. 4. Gain knowledge of common conditions that can produce complications during pregnancy and how to treat these conditions.
