September 1, 2023 Live Webinar Betrayal trauma poses one of the most fragile and challenging presentations to psychotherapists. Where do I begin? How soon post-discovery can any work be done and if so what in the early stages? What can I do in the context of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and exactly what is a stage one attachment injury conversation? Questions such as this as well as boundaries around questions, disclosure, affair termination and more are topics for early acute stage work. This training will focus on the complexity of treatment at this stage and what can be done to begin to work through the trauma of intimate betrayal within and Emotionally Focused Therapy perspective. Presenter Bio: Kelly Bourque, LMFT Kelly holds a License in Marriage and Family Therapy in the state of Tennessee and is a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT) and Supervisor. She is the founder of Red Therapy Group, a practice specializing in working with couples. With 15+ years of experience, Kelly now works exclusively with couples, facilitating 3-day private intensives. Outside of therapy, Kelly spends her time mentoring other therapists, managing the group practice, developing e-courses, and speaking. She says therapy is her first love. My clients show me the magic of humanity. Im often moved to tears as I watch people find their way back to themselves and each other. When not working, Kelly loves spending time with her three children and husband. They enjoy streaming the latest top-notch shows and love to travel.
