Course overview
The National Health Examination Survey estimated that 25% of boys and 15% of girls were enuretic at age six with as many as 8% of boys and 4% of girls still enuretic at age 12. This course focuses on an alarm-based behavioral treatment for enuresis. Learning Objectives: 1. Review a description of enuresis, including a definition of the disorder, onset, and prevalence rates. 2. Compare alarm-based behavioral treatment to various treatment alternatives. 3. Review a description of the important steps and techniques for an alarm-based behavioral treatment.
