Podcast: Growing Up in a Pandemic: Impact on Kids with Developmental Delay
Tracking # 20-1109036
Course overview
We all know that the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on child development, but what about the impact on children with developmental delay? Many children had limited access to therapy and socialization for a year or more. How does that impact their clinical presentation today, and how will that impact their progress in your plan of care for cognition, sensory regulation, communication, motor function, and behavior? What is the new normal and when should you be concerned? This podcast will discuss these important topics and model best practices in intervention using clinical examples.
