Course overview
The Program for Evaluating Payment Patterns Electronic Report (PEPPER) data is the BEST tool for hospice to review claims data over time and identify potential areas of practice and payment vulnerability. The PEPPER report is intended to serve as an educational tool; however, very few hospices know how to accurately review and analyze the 16 target areas included in the FY2022 PEPPER report to self-identify and self-correct any areas of vulnerability. The goal of this course is to educate the hospice team on how to use PEPPER data to identify risk areas for improper Medicare payments.
