Course overview

This course provides an understanding of the challenges faced by women within various life domains and developmental phases due to gender differences, cultural structure, and life span development. Major topics include gender development in children and adolescents, women's careers, merging of family and work, women's mental health challenges, and motherhood. This course is approved by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling (Provider Number 50-446), and the Florida Office of School Psychology.
