When emotions run high among veterinary team members, communication often breaks down and conflict is unresolved or amplified. Effective communication among teams is a reliable predictor of job satisfaction and is also associated with lower burnout scores. During this webinar, the different forms of conflict will be described with practical strategies for addressing conflict with others. Methods for engaging in compassionate (non-violent) communication with colleagues and team members will also be shared with examples of statements and phrases that will foster collaboration rather than confrontation.
