Course overview
Nausea and vomiting can occur in multiple patient groups from myriad causes. Regardless of the etiology, the objective of nausea and vomiting treatment should be for prophylaxis or the cessation of this response. This course will inform healthcare team members about the indications, contraindications, and adverse effects of the most used antiemetics. It will also discuss alternative and nonpharmacological treatments.
