This is a free online anytime educational offering targeting the members of the Philippine Nurses Association of Tampa and members of other Florida chapters as well as members of the local nursing community at large. The purpose is to provide participants with an overview of mitral valve disorders; discuss patient fears, mindset, and expectations pre- and post-mitral valve procedure; describe the importance of provider and patient collaboration; and discuss patient education.
