Tracking # 20-1113586
Course overview
This course is a recording of a previously hosted live webinar event. Polling and question submission features are not available for this recording. Format and structure may differ from standard MedBridge courses. An interdisciplinary approach to amputee care can increase the success of your treatment goals and allow the patient to reach their full functional potential. Physical therapists, occupational therapists, and prosthetists all have unique and important roles in the rehabilitation process, which overlap but are not independent of each other. When understood and utilized appropriately, these professional responsibilities should complement one another and improve patient care. Understanding your role and scope of practice as well as those of your healthcare team colleagues will help improve functional outcomes and increase the effectiveness of your treatment sessions.
