Learn moreCourse overview
With the children we work with, developmental change occurs primarily during everyday caregiver interactions. Brain science tells us that positive caregiver-child interactions lead to better development outcomes. A child's ability to learn, engage, participate, and become independent is influenced by the skills of caregivers. As early intervention therapists/teachers, its our job to coach positive caregiver abilities, skills, and habits to help them feel more confident and successful in supporting their child's development during everyday family life. This course will provide you with a practice map for increasing the potential for successful "follow through" of early intervention strategies, techniques, activities, and tools.
