Course overview
The interpretation of arrhythmias on electrocardiograms (ECGs) is increasingly becoming one of the responsibilities of emergency medical technicians in the field. Many departments have even implemented 12 lead ECGs in the field. This course serves as an introduction to the basics of electrical conduction in the heart, including the fundamentals of using an ECG machine and ECG tools, the normal sinus rhythm, ECG leads, and concepts related to the recognition of arrhythmias on the ECG.
