Learn moreCourse overview
The shoulder is a complex joint in the body which lends it to many different types of injuries. When treating the shoulder clinicians must choose between mobility, stability, and flexibility interventions. Even more important than choosing the right intervention for the shoulder is then choosing a proper dose to make it effective. This course will discuss evidence-based stages to treating the shoulder from the acute phase to returning to activities. Attendees will review the evidence behind the mobility treatment, EMG studies, and strength and conditioning principles in common and novel exercises. At the end of the course, attendees will have an effective, evidence-based, and efficient approach to treating the shoulder.
