This workshop will focus on the prevalence and impact of pre-analytical errors (e.g., hemolysis, micro-clots) in point-of-care (POC) blood gas testing. The unique challenges of preanalytical errors in the neonatal intensive care unit will be discussed and strategies to address them reviewed.
