This affects how adolescents make decisions, feel, think, and interact with others. The rapid growth they are experiencing can cause risks to their health to develop. This course will review the stages of puberty and the common health conditions associated with the physical and psychological development of adolescents. It will also provide information on how to treat and manage common conditions. This course will use story-based learning, direct examples, and review questions to support active learning. This course provides the healthcare team in the acute care setting with information on how to identify and manage health risks in adolescents.
